What an instant funding account is

An instant funding account skips the evaluation. You pay once and trade a funded account from the first day, with no profit target to pass first. Most firms run these accounts on simulated capital and pay you a share of the profit under their payout rules.

That is why the rules matter more than the size on the label. The drawdown limit ends the account when you reach it, a daily loss limit can stop you for the day or for good, and many firms add a consistency rule or a minimum number of days before the first payout.

Real cost: what the sticker price hides

Two accounts at the same price can buy very different room to trade. Real cost divides the price you pay by the account's maximum drawdown, per $1,000. AquaFunded Try Aqua $5K costs $10 for $250 of drawdown, so $40 per $1,000.

Today the median real cost is $203 in futures, $236.80 in forex and $341.59 in crypto. The lowest is Bulenox Fast Track $150K (Option 1, trailing) in futures ($86), AquaFunded Try Aqua $5K in forex ($40) and ForTraders Crypto Instant $50K in crypto ($195.60).

A low price is only a good deal if the room it buys is cheap too. Our comparator ranks every account this way.

Five rules to check before you buy

  • Drawdown typeA static drawdown keeps the same floor for the life of the account. An end-of-day drawdown moves only at the daily close. A trailing drawdown follows your highest balance, and some lock at a set level. 75 of the 350 accounts we list have a static drawdown.
  • Daily loss limit292 accounts have one, stated in dollars. For the other 58, no daily loss limit is stated.
  • Consistency ruleIt caps how much of your profit can come from a single day. 92 accounts have none, 211 have one, and for 47 the rule is not published or the firm's own pages disagree.
  • Payout scheduleSchedules run from on demand to every 30 days. 96 accounts pay daily or on demand; 14 pay only at each profit target or once.
  • Payout caps and where you live91 accounts cap payouts in some way, one of them with a lifetime cap. 3 firms restrict US residents (AtmosFunded, FXIFY and Blueberry Funded), 9 accept them with limits, 1 without limits, 14 do not say either way and FundedSquad's own pages disagree.

How we check every number

We read each firm's official pages and its checkout, record the date, and link the source in the firm's review. If a firm does not publish a rule, we write "Not published". If its own pages contradict each other, we show both. We do not use ratings, review sites or anonymous reports.

Which instant funding prop firm is the cheapest?

By real cost and by price, the answer today is the same account: AquaFunded Try Aqua $5K, $10 for $250 of drawdown, or $40 per $1,000. For larger accounts, compare real cost at the size you want: in futures the lowest is Bulenox Fast Track $150K (Option 1, trailing) at $86 per $1,000.

Can US residents buy an instant funding account?

3 of the 28 firms restrict US residents: AtmosFunded, FXIFY and Blueberry Funded. FundedSquad's own pages disagree. 9 accept US residents with limits, 1 without limits, and 14 do not say either way. Each review quotes the firm's own wording.

Do instant funding accounts have a daily loss limit?

Most do: 292 of 350. No daily loss limit is stated for 58 accounts, mostly at Instant Funding, City Traders Imperium and Blueberry Funded.

What is the largest instant funding account?

Blue Guardian Instant $400K: $1,650 with PFK, for $24,000 of drawdown.

Does the PFK code work at every firm?

No. It gives the discounts listed above at Blue Guardian, Bulenox, FunderPro and Alpha Futures. At some other firms we list our own code too; confirm the discount at checkout.

What does "Not published" mean?

The firm does not state that rule on its official pages or at its checkout on the date we checked. We never fill the gap with a guess.
